The database is built by the bobblehead collecting community along with the admins at Bobblehead Headquarters. When a user searches for a bobblehead that is not in the database, the user has the option to add it themselves. Together, we will build the worlds largest bobblehead database.

To add a bobblehead to your collection, you need to search for your bobblehead in the search bar or click on "Add a Bobblehead to My Collection" on your profile page. Once you find your bobblehead, click on it's page and there will be an option to add it to your collection. If you do not find your bobblehead in the database, you can add it to the database yourself, then add it to your collection.

The Estimated Value of a bobblehead is the average sale price of a bobblehead that has been recorded in transactions by other users. The Estimated Value does not consider bobbleheads that were sold as having a poor or damaged condition, missing the box, missing pieces, or autographed in the average price. The Estimated Value also does not consider cash considerations that were included in a trade.

If you have a bobblehead(s) you would like to sell, you need to first add the bobblehead to your collection. If you have multiple bobbleheads of the same one, or duplicates, you need to add each one. When adding to your collection, you will have the option to add duplicated at the same time. When adding the bobblehead(s) to your collection, when you get to the option "Is it for sale?" you need to select "Yes." At this point, you are required to list an asking price and if shipping will be included in that price. Once you answer the remaining questions, you click submit and it is added to your collection. From there, other users that are in search of that bobblehead will see that you have it for sale and will contact you via Messages. If the bobblehead you want to sell is already in your collection, go to My Collection and find the bobblehead you want to sell. Under the Action column, you click the edit option and from there you can change the status of the bobblehead from Not for sale to for sale, enter an asking price and if shipping is included, and hit submit. If you want to be more aggressive with selling your bobblehead, you could go to the bobblehead database page and click on "# On Wish Lists." This will bring up all the people that have added this bobblehead to their Wish List and might be willing to buy it from you. You can go to their profile pages and message them. Once you finalize a deal with another user, you Record the Transaction, which can be found on your profile page. After the transaction is recorded, the bobblehead(s) that was sold will automatically transfer to the other user's collection.

After you answer the remaining questions and hit Submit, other users in search of that bobblehead will see that it is for trade and may contact you via Messages to work out a deal. If you want to be more aggressive with your trading, you could go to a bobblehead database page of a bobblehead you want and see how many other users have it listed for trade. From there you might make a deal. Once a deal is agreed upon by another user, you Record the Transaction, which can be found on your profile page. After the transaction is recorded, the bobblehead(s) that were traded will automatically transfer to the each other's collection.

Reporting transactions is one of the most important features on BHHQ. This allows users to keep a record of their transactions and rate other users. Reporting of sales is what determines the estimated value of a bobblehead. Honesty and integrity is at the upmost importance. Also, once a user reports a transaction, the bobblehead(s) that were involved in the transaction will automatically be transferred into the other person's collection.
